Four steps from “we should really do something about Arabic” to a tutor your child looks forward to seeing each week.
Step 1 — Tell us about your child
You fill in a short form: your child's age, what Arabic they've been exposed to, what you'd like them to be able to do. A member of our team reads it, then gets in touch to talk it through. We're trying to understand three things: where your child is now, how much time you can realistically give each week, and what would make this feel like a win for your family.
We also ask your child to do a short, friendly diagnostic activity. It's not a test in any meaningful sense. It helps us suggest a starting level. Their first tutor will confirm or adjust it after the first proper lesson.
Step 2 — We choose a tutor and recommend a learning pace
This is the part most platforms automate. We don't.
A real person on our team chooses the tutor we think fits your child best, based on the conversation we've had with you. We also recommend a learning pace — how often, and how long, your child's lessons should be. There are three options:
- Weekly — 1 live 1:1 lesson per week. Suited to families with limited time, or younger children easing in.
- Twice weekly — 2 live 1:1 lessons per week, on different days. The default, and the rhythm most families settle on.
- Intensive — longer or more focused learning using additional lesson credits. Good for older children, or families whose week only has space for one fixture.
Your child's pace is set after our intake conversation. We talk you through the recommendation and you can push back. We just don't drop a slider on a checkout page and ask families to guess.
We work with families across time zones and align tutor availability accordingly.
Step 3 — Free 20-minute trial
Once your child has a tutor and a level, we book a free 20-minute trial lesson. It's a chance for your child to meet their tutor on video, do something small and structured together, and get a feel for how Nanour lessons run. It's also a chance for us to confirm the placement.
The trial is free, one per child, and you tick a short set of terms before confirming the slot. Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and you can rebook. Cancel inside 24 hours, or miss the lesson, and the trial is used.
No payment needed for the trial.
Step 4 — Bundles and ongoing lessons
If the trial goes well, you choose a bundle: Starter, Term, or Annual. Lessons run on a regular weekly rhythm. Each lesson follows the next: your child's tutor opens our curriculum, picks up where they left off, and works through the unit.
After every lesson, you get a summary in your inbox. It's drafted from the tutor's structured notes by our internal AI tools, then reviewed and approved by the tutor before being sent. You see what was covered, how your child got on, and what's coming next. Nothing about the lesson is hidden from you. Lessons are recorded as standard for safeguarding, quality, tutor support and lesson continuity, with parent consent and in line with our Privacy Policy.
